Sum it up! Law Suits, Diddy’s Star, & Nate Dogg Update.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is set to receive a star on the walk of fame. He announced the news on Jamie Foxx’s satelite show The Foxxhole. Diddy will be starring in the Television version of,  A Raisin in the Sun following the Oscars February 28, 2008. Diddy is also still crafting bands on MTV with a new season of Making the Band set to premiere January 28, 2008.

Chris Brown is being sued by John Troxtel the set designer for Chris Brown’s 2007 tour, Troxel claims that while he was paid for some of his design work, “extra work was required and requested,” and though an oral agreement was reached, the touring company refused to pay for his services when he tried to collect. Troxtel is suing for breach of contract and unjust enrichment. He is seeking damages in excess of $1 Mil.

Nate Dogg is currently in a rehab facility after the stroke he suffered. Get well Nate Dogg.

After the drama with Ne-Yo dropping from the tour with R. Kelly he is know suing. Ne-Yo claims he was kicked off the tour after just two shows because his opening set was getting a better response from the audience than concert headliner R. Kelly’s. The singer/song writer/producer says he lost $785,000 in earnings from the gigs, which was meant to be for a minimum of 25 dates, and is suing for breach of contract, violation of the right of publicity and unfair practices.
